JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an electrical technician, you will be part of a team of about 14 technicians working together on our contract on the Western Main Line. Here, we work with the operation and maintenance of the entire railway facility, where you as an electrical technician focus on maintenance and troubleshooting of overhead lines, switch heating, lighting, and power supply.

Working hours vary, and since travel, on-call duty at home, as well as weekend and night work may occur, it is important that you live in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education with a focus on electrical/overhead line technology.
• High school education with a focus on electricity or equivalent.
• Experience from railway projects.
• Driving license B (manual).
• Meets medical requirements to be approved for safety service.

Meritorious:

• Post-secondary education in railway technology.
• Competence as a connection leader for overhead lines.
• Work experience as an electrician/electrical technician.
• Authorization to operate track vehicles.
• Driving license C.
• Authorization from the Electrical Safety Authority.
